Send your prayers and best wishes to a friend in need

This post is a case of "better to ask for forgiveness than permission". I want to share with you what is going on in Missy's world in the coming week.
Some of you know that Missy's husband is a Marine pilot and was scheduled to deploy to Iraq on August 17th. Unfortunately,Missy and Chris found out Friday that his deployment has been pushed up and he will be leaving August 3, just a little over a week from now. He will be in Iraq until February.
So here is what I am asking of you, faithful readers....please pray for Missy, Chris and their children, leave Missy some words of cheer and encouragement and thank those brave soldiers who serve our country for their sacrifices are great.
Thanks for your help!
Liz

Missy-

As always, You, Chris and the girls are on our minds always. I know that this is always a hard time for you and your family, but if it gives you comfort I feel so fortunate to know your family, You are all truly wonderful and inspiring people. I also know how important it is that Chris and troops are protecting our freedoms and liberties, and that it is important for them to do this even though it is hard on their families. I do not think we tell the troops or their families thank you enough for what they do for each and everyone of us, So a big huge Thank you to Chris and the troops for having the courage and strength to do this. Another big huge thank you to you and your girls for the sacrifices you make while your husband is gone. You are always on my thoughts and prayers and will be on them even more. I pray that Chris will be home safe and sound as quickly as possible. If you ever need to talk, I am a phone call or email away. God Bless you and your family!

Missy, I know you have mixed feelings. You must be very proud that your husband has such a big heart that he will serve his country in such a way; but very scared and sad that he will be away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, him and your family and a huge thanks to your husband for keeping us safe here at home.

Missy, know that you and your family are in a lot of prayers.
Isn't it amazing that around the world people you may never meet, are uttering your name in reverance and gratefully for your husband and your family.
I love the comfort it is to know that our Father in heaven knows us and hears our prayers.

Missy - We've never met, but I saw the post on Paula Prass' blog and I had to write. I just wanted you to know that I'll be praying for you and your family, that you be lifted up, that the days fly by, that your husband stays safe. My hubby's also a Marine pilot and is over there now, too. I know the first days are always the worst, so please feel free to contact me if you ever need to vent. In the meantime, you'll be in my prayers.
