Crafty Gals - we have a Giveaway for you!
We are all about feeling pretty. If you are going to vacuum the floor, then your vacuum should be pretty.
I tried to explain this principle to the hubby recently when I was picking out a new broom. He looked for size and economy, I looked for the pretty color. Guess which broom came home with us?! When you are sewing, an old fashioned red, tomato pincushion will work just fine. It will patiently hold your pins for you, and the little strawberry will keep your needles sharp (yes, that is what it is for!), but this little pincushion Liz created is much prettier!
We are going to start doing giveaways on a fairly regular basis, 'cause that's the kind of girls we are, and we are starting with this sweet little pincushion.
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post before midnight, Tuesday 9/2. We will pick a winner and post the winner Wednesday morning!
Until then, happy creating, you crafty gal!
#1 never wins, but maybe I'll be the first! Cute pin cushion!
ReplyDeleteI don't need to win, but I think that pin cusion is probably the prettiest one I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this...my tomato is looking kinda old now that you mention it!
ReplyDeleteI, too, am ready to get rid of my tomato pin cushion. Yours is so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI absolutley love that adorable pin cushin. I don't have a pin cushin I use my drapes to hold my pins and needles, so hopefully I will win. YAY!!

ReplyDeleteOh, and you're right about "pretty" (vacuums, brooms, hammers?)it make the "job" more enjoyable!
Lovely pin cushion! How fantastic that it will be given to a lucky winner!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I would love that for my new sewing room in my new house in California near my dear friend of a long time Missy... ;-) Can't wait to see you Missy....
ReplyDeleteI'll enter, it's darling! I don't even own a pincushion, isn't that sad. I just store my pins in a little box. I would feel like a real grown up lady if I had my own pincushion.
ReplyDeleteVery cute pin cushion!
ReplyDeleteEnter me please!
I have a red strawberry and I have a red tomato, both are from my grandmother's sewing box, thus old and Vintage...but they are certainly not SWEET OR FUNKY! I would love to win that precious pin cushion so that they can be a family in my sewing box and I can voo doo them all up together!
